Chipping away at the ole list...
Accomplished
We have a few spices growing in containers at the new apartment and a strawberry plant that had some teeny berries at one point that have since died. I certainly do not have the green thumb that runs on the Webb side of my family.
We took a trip to the New Buffalo area of Michigan a couple weeks ago with Ben's parents. It was a really fun area. We visited "Oink's Ice cream"---the ice cream was oh soo delicious and lots of fun flavors. I think between the four of us we had Georgia peach, blackberry, strawberry cheesecake, Red Velvet Cake, and French Silk. I had two flavors..naturally. The decor was alll PIG...tacky, tacky pig awesomness. We also visited an awesome train/toy store where Levi was given a free engineers hat (adjustable, but still too big :)). Then we went to the beach...Levi's first time. The water was cold, but he still enjoyed it. Then we headed to a very highly rated hamburger place-Redamak's..yum. Then to a really awesome antique store, followed by a cruise down a highway with lots of arsty shops and such. I will need to go back to check them out because Levi was pooped and sleeping at this point. Here are some favorite photos from the day.
AND there was this store that Ben and I requested a stop at...We were both in love with the building, and the store was super neat. Lots art and household things I would love to be in our home. Likely my favorite household store ever. Check out their website to see what I mean...http://www.sojournastore.com/
